The engagement centered on KEYCDA\u2019s ongoing efforts in youth empowerment, with particular emphasis on integrating disaster risk reduction (DRR) into youth development programs. The discussion highlighted the need for inclusive, community-driven approaches to resilience and preparedness in Kombo East and beyond.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Executive Director of NDMA warmly welcomed the initiative, reaffirming that disaster management is a critical pillar of national development\u2014not merely a humanitarian response. He expressed strong interest in formalizing the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and pledged the agency\u2019s support to KEYCDA\u2019s mission.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The KEYCDA delegation was led by the Board Chairperson and included the Vice Chairperson, Executive Secretary, District Youth Committee Chairperson, and the Kombo East District Youth Parliamentarian.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
